The Superhuman Protocol
Magnetism, oxygen, light — one hour, three technologies, one deliberate order. Twenty minutes of PEMF, fifteen to twenty minutes of exercise with oxygen (EWOT) on the bike or stair stepper, and twenty minutes of full-body red light to finish. $90 for the full sequence at Inner Harmony Retreat in Fells Point, Baltimore — most clinics charge $150.
Your hour, in order
Step 1 — Magnetism: PEMF (20 minutes). You start lying down. Pulsed electromagnetic fields are associated with supporting cellular energy and circulation; their job in the sequence is priming.
Step 2 — Oxygen: EWOT (15–20 minutes). Low-impact cardio at your pace while breathing oxygen-enriched air through a mask. Exercise drives circulation hard; the enriched air raises what your blood carries while it's moving fastest.
Step 3 — Light: red light (20 minutes). Full-body red and near-infrared light — wavelengths absorbed by mitochondria — delivered to a body that just spent half an hour elevating its circulation and oxygen delivery.
The three technologies, honestly
- PEMF — substantial clinical research base: systematic reviews and meta-analyses of randomized trials, mostly in pain and physical function.
- EWOT — pairs two well-established facts (exercise as the strongest natural driver of circulation and oxygen uptake; enriched air raising blood oxygen during effort). Honest asterisk: dedicated peer-reviewed trials of EWOT as a branded protocol are limited — the component physiology is textbook, the specific combination is newer science.
- Red light / photobiomodulation — one of the better-studied wellness modalities, with hundreds of published systematic reviews.
- The sequence itself — a reasonable physiological argument, not a proven clinical formula. Each component has its own research base; the ordering is the protocol's thesis.

These studies examine the component technologies in various clinical contexts — not the Superhuman Protocol as a whole, and not our services. We're a wellness retreat, not a medical provider: nothing we offer diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease.
